Account Alerts

 

For people on the go, NEAFCU's new Account Alerts will help you stay "in the know" when it comes to your credit union accounts. This is another service your credit union provides so you can ensure the safety and security of your account.

Online account alerts allows online banking users the ability to setup e-mail notifications so they can stay better informed about activities on their account, as well as keep up with personal events. A few of the alerts offered are:

  • Balance Alerts -- be notified when your account goes below an amount you designate.
  • Transaction Alerts -- be notified of deposits/withdrawals.
  • Cleared Check Alerts -- get e-mails telling you when a check or a series of checks have cleared.
  • Event reminders - never forget a birthday or anniversary.
  • Reminders can be sent to notify you when a certificate is maturing.
Account alerts will allow you to monitor your accounts and more quickly contact the credit union if you suspect a transaction could be fraudulent. It's also a fantastic way to manage your accounts.

To setup account alerts, login to online banking, click on the "options" menu and select "account alerts" from the menu.
